Hi Darters both local and worldwide. Firstly I’ll have to apologize for a late report on the last darting action in the New Cowboy bar on the night of the 5th. I did agree to write this at the time but I was well intoxicated and forgot until I was reminded last night by The Big Wikowski. Now for a night of darting action and heroism on the board. We agreed a time to meet at 7:30ish and getting our priorities in order we ordered the beers and swapped stories relaxing outside of the venue and puffing on our preferred choice of cigarettes. We decided to pick 2 man teams, which we left to our friend Colin. He said the CW and Johnny should team up and the lovely Ms. Tia and myself. The evening on the board started slowly, (which is usually the case) but it stayed that way for the rest of the night, not one player shone with any scores to brag about. The average score was around 30 for the 10 games we played with Ms. Tia and myself coming out victors with a 7 – 3 win. I have been told to mention a double bull close for CW and a check of 102 by yours truly. I must mention an event which happened during the evening while outside on one of our many cig breaks. Johnny CW and myself were sitting chatting away about the inability to hit a 20 with 3 darts when CW stood up and immediately pulling up his right trouser leg and asked to take a look, confused? Yes, well, so were Johnny and myself and after scratching whatever, we gave up on what we were supposed to guess as to what CW was on about. As it happened CW was so chuffed at repairing his shoe he wanted to tell the world. Well done CW a cobbler in the making, a dart player? The future will have the answers! One more thing which happened on the night and I was reminded of it and have no recollection of (inebriated) was the photographs taken at nights end. We all apparently stood around a motorcycle while CW was sat astride the said vehicle, why? I really don’t know but Johnny did say the pictures will tell the story. Drink heartily and Aim true. ktd
